Michael Toohey is an expert in Aotearoa New Zealand cycling history, holding a PhD in the subject. Michael lives in Ōtoutahi Christchurch, and is well known and respected in the cycling community. When not writing, Michael runs New Brighton Cycles, where he shares his passion for the sport with other biking enthusiasts.
