Simon Kennett
Simon was a qualified electrical engineer in a previous life. He then retrained, gaining qualifications in Environmental Studies at Auckland University and at Victoria University.
Before Simon took up mountain biking in 1985 he survived many on- and off-road rides on his touring bike. He has represented New Zealand in mountain biking several times, and in 2004 was the Masters XC champion.
