Which one should I download?
============================

"Kopiko Aotearoa [datecode] Kennett Bros.gpx" is the generic Garman GPS file format 
- it should work with most GPS units. The file is not compressed so will take a 
bit longer to download.

"Kopiko Aotearoa [datecode] Kennett Bros.kmz" is for Google Earth - you can load this 
into Google Earth on your computer.

How do I download the file?
===========================

1. Right-mouse click on the filename of the file you want to save.

2. From the dropdown menu that appears choose "Save link as..."
   If you don't see "Save link as..." you may have made the mistake of 
3. Save it somewhere on your computer - somewhere that you can find later.



How to I get the file into my GPS?
==================================

Option A:
--------
Read the instructions provided with your GPS unit for uploading track files. 

Option B:
--------
Google "How to upload a track file to my [brand/model] GPS unit" or try:

Option C:
--------
1. On your computer start up the software that came with your GPS.
2. Plug your GPS into the USB port of your computer.
3. Wait half a minute for your computer to recognise your GPS.
4. Import the Tour Aotearoa 20151224 Kennett Bros file (gdb or kmz - whichever 
   version works for your software).
5. Export/Upload to your GPS unit.
 
Option D:
--------
1. Plug your GPS into the USB port of your computer.
2. Wait for your computer to say "New hard drive ready to use".
3. Use File Explorer to copy the file from (wherever you saved it earlier) to 
   the folder on your GPS's drive that holds all the tracks (different GPS units 
   will organise their folders differently so you'll have to sniff around 
   to find the right folder).
4. Start up your GPS and check if you can see the tracks and photo waypoints on 
   your map.

Hey! Now my GPS is really slow - why?
=====================================
As the Kopiko Aotearoa file is kinda large - you may find that it slows your GPS 
map page. Try deleting old tracks to clear some space.


Hey! I loaded them onto my GPS but I still can't see them - why?
================================================================
You may need to make sure they are "turned on" and/or are being displayed in a 
colour that you can actually see. Each GPS does things a little differently - 
so you'll need to read the instructions provided with your particular GPS.


I want to upload this to my favourite GPS app - will it work? 
=============================================================
This might work.

Also, it might not - depending on the particular app, device, app version, 
device version and weather you have the paid or free version of the app. 

Sadly - it's more complicated than we're able to help you with. We suggest you 
try the TA Facebook group.

Also be aware that some apps assume you've only got one track. They don't cope with 
multiple tracks or multiple route options.
